Music - Grades 4-12, Band, Choir

Education: Instrumental Conducting from the American Band College, Ashland Oregon; Bachelor of Music Education/Choral Music from Wichita State University/Graduate School; Level 1 Orff/ Schulwerk Certificate;

Mr. Myrick joined St. Paul’s Academy in 2013 as Upper School Music Director where he teaches band, choir, and 4th and 5th grade general music, coaches 6-8 Boys Basketball, and is an 8th grade Advisor.   

Brian has always been into music.  His mother played piano, his dad sang barbershop,and was in band and choir in high school.  He is a Veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the American Choral Directors Association, National Association for Music Education, and the American Legion.  

In his spare time, Brian enjoys volunteers with Animals as Natural Therapy, sings with the Bellingham Chamber Chorale and enjoys cooking, sailing, riding his bike, and reading with his family.
