Anna Johnson was born in Ontario, Canada, but grew up in Bellevue, WA. She attended Western Washington University where she earned her degree in English in 1995 and her Secondary Teaching Certificate in 1997.

She taught English at Burlington-Edison HS (B-EHS) from 1998-2004. While at Burlington she served as the yearbook advisor, Junior and Senior class advisor, boys and girls JV soccer coach and the Head of the English Department. After leaving B-EHS to care for her children, Anna took classes at Bellingham Technical College focusing on Toddlers, Preschoolers and Parenting. She has continued to take classes centering on preschool curriculum and Administration from Seattle Pacific University.

When she is not at Little Epistles Preschool, Anna enjoys being with her family and friends. She likes reading, playing soccer and running with her son and their two dogs, Flash and Sounder. As a family they spend a lot of time in the outdoors watching soccer games or fishing in the San Juan Islands.
