Akiko was born and raised in Japan. She moved to Bellingham in 1995. Akiko has had extensive work experience in the fields of social service and international education. She lives with her husband and two children. Akiko and her family enjoy learning about other cultures and societies and enjoy hosting international students. Akiko began working at St. Paul’s Academy in 2007.
