Athletics

6th – 8th Grade and Upper School

St. Paul’s Academy offers the following sports in middle school for grades 6-8th: Cross-Country, Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling and Track & Field. The Upper School participated in Track & Field, Volleyball and indoor Soccer too. We also encourage the Lower School and Middle School students to build Jr. Ski to Sea teams each year.

 

HS Volleyball (girls only)

Season: Sept 09, 2015 – October 23, 2015

Practices: St. Paul’s Academy, 5 times a week, Mon.- Fri.

 

MS & US Cross Country

Season: Sept. 02 – October 23, 2015

Practices: Trails and parks near St. Paul’s, with at least one practice at an off-campus running trail. Five days a week, Monday through Friday

 

Tennis

Season: Sept 09, 2015 – Oct 23, 2015

Practices: Cornwall Park. Three days a week.

 

MS & US Basketball

Season: Nov 02, 205 – Jan 05, 2016

Practices: St. Paul’s Upper School and St. Paul’s Activity Center. Five days a week, Monday through Friday

 

MS Wrestling (Boys Only)

Season: Jan 25, 2016 – March 18, 2016

Practices are 5 days a week, Mon.- Friday

MS Volleyball (Girls Only)

Season: Jan. 25 – Mar. 18, 2016

Practices: St. Paul’s Upper School. Five days a week, Mon. – Fri.

 

MS Track & Field

Season: Mar. 21, 2016 – May 20, 2016

Practices: St. Paul’s Academy, with at least one practice at an off-campus track facility. Five days a week, Monday – Fri.

US Track & Field

Season: Feb. 29, 2015 – May 28, 2016

 

Morning Care (K-4)

 

St. Paul’s Academy offers school care for Lower School families (K-4) that need to drop students off early. The doors open at 7 a.m. and students will be dismissed to their classes at 8 a.m. Please inquire at the front desk for more information and to make payments. The price is $10 per student per day.

 

After School Sibling Care (K-4)

This is a free service for Lower School students who are waiting for the dismissal of an older sibling. Sibling Care is determined by the following staggered release times: Kindergarten 2:45 p.m., 1st Grade 2:55 p.m., 2nd Grade 3:05 p.m., 3rd and 4th Grade 3:15 p.m.

 

YMCA CARE

For families who need after school care, the YMCA offers a program on our Lower School campus. Students will be dropped off and signed in by their classroom teacher. Care is available until 6 p.m. each night. YMCA charges the following monthly fee rate: Full-time $250 for 4-5 days a week & $191 for a 2-3 days a week. They work with students up to 12 years of age.

Enrichment Classes

K-12 offers a variety of enrichment opporunties after school each day. Past clubs include: Chess, Robotics, Piano, Math Club, Art classes, and Science Lab / Data Technologies. Please ask Administrative Assistants at any front desk for more information and for current offerings.
